Export your custom trackers straight into your video workflows
We have released XML exports for all your team, player and opponent trackers, so your custom metrics can slot straight into your existing video workflows, with every key moment already linked to clips.
No extra tagging. No double work. Just export, import and get straight to the analysis.
If you run analysis in Sportscode, MyVA or a similar tool, you probably recognize this workflow.
- Based on the game model of your club, you define the actions that matter
- You tag them, again and again, every week, for every game
With MyGamePlan, you could already automate a lot of that tagging using event and tracking data to re-create those actions using our custom trackers.
The next step was obvious. Those same trackers need to plug directly into the tools you use every day for video, telestration and presentations.
That is exactly what this update does.
What’s new
You can now export XML files for:
- Team performance trackers
- Individual player development trackers
- Opponent analysis trackers
Each export gives you a ZIP file with XML files that can be imported into every major video analysis tool, such as Sportscode or MyVA. Once imported, you see your familiar timelines, with your own definitions and custom metrics, ready for telestration, cut-ups and presentations.
Team performance
From data review to video in one click
Under the Video tab in your top navigation, you can now download XML files for all of your games.
Each team export contains:
- XML files with all events from team trackers
- one file per half
- one combined file for the full game
- XML files with all events from player trackers
- one file per half
- one combined file for the full game
This means that if you have built a tracker for something like “short goal kick to final third” or “high press regains”, you can export it and see those exact events on your Sportscode or MyVA timeline in seconds.
Player development
Turn your individual trackers into ready-made clips
For each player profile, under the Video tab, you can now download XML files for their games.
Each player export includes:
- A ZIP file with XML files for that player’s individual trackers
- one file per half
- one combined file for the full game
So if you are tracking things like “runs in behind”, “pressing actions” or “final third involvements”, you can push those straight into your video tool and build your player feedback meetings around the clips that matter.
Opponent analysis
Prepare for your next opponent without re-tagging
Under the Video tab, you can now download XML files for all games of your next opponent.
Each export includes:
- XML files for all opponent analysis trackers
- one file per half
- one combined file for the full game
If you have created opponent trackers such as “short goal kick to final third”, “switches of play”, or “crosses from wide overloads”, you can now bring all of those moments into your video tool without tagging them again.
Why it matters
This update makes MyGamePlan fit more naturally into the way analysts already work.
- Your custom metrics stay at the centre of your process
- Your tracking based workflows connect directly to video
- You move faster from data review to video feedback, without adding extra steps
In short, you spend less time recreating work, and more time on what matters most, the analysis itself and communication with staff and players.
