ABout JIM
The Analyst's Lens
Jim Smit is the video analyst at FC Volendam, who he joined in summer 2025 as part of the technical staff following the club's promotion back to the Eredivisie. The Dutchman came in after two seasons in the same role at ADO Den Haag, with a year inside Ajax's youth academy before that.
Alongside the club role, Jim also works as video analyst for the Curaçao national team, who in November 2025 became the smallest nation ever to qualify for a FIFA World Cup. He will play an active role behind the scenes as they make their tournament debut at the 2026 World Cup.
