MGPT is the AI assistant inside MyGamePlan. You ask it a football question in plain language and it works through your event data, tracking data and video to answer: a written answer, a graph, the clips behind it, or a full report. It is the analysis work your staff does by hand today, done in minutes. You can ask it something yourself: sign up with your club email and it answers on your own competition.

Anything you would ask an analyst. Clips on demand (“show me every counter attack we scored with four at the back”), a question that needs thinking (“our centre back is injured, who replaces him and what should we watch for?”), or a comparison across the league (“which midfielders create the most danger?”). And when the answer needs more than a paragraph, you ask for a report.

You check it the way a coach checks anything: by watching the moments behind it. Every number MGPT gives you links to the clips it was counted from, so “14 out of 19” is one click away from the 19. MGPT does the counting, your staff does the judging, and if something is off you see it in 30 seconds instead of on Saturday.

Event data, tracking data and video, broadcast and tactical. We connect to the providers you already have, or provide the data ourselves where you have none, and unify it so one question gets one answer. Tactical footage comes in through an automated integration with most video providers, so nobody downloads, uploads or syncs an offset by hand.

MyGamePlan has its own xG model. It is trained on event data features and takes the context of the action into account: not just where the shot was taken, but how the chance came about. It does not use features derived from tracking data, so it works the same on every competition we cover, including the ones without tracking.

MGC (MyGameContribution) is our possession value model: it values each on-the-ball action based on its impact on the game outcome while taking into account the context of the action. Intuitively, an action value reflects the action's expected influence on the scoreline. That is, an action valued at +0.05 is expected to contribute 0.05 goals in favor of the team performing the action, whereas an action valued at -0.05 is expected to yield 0.05 goals for their opponent. An advantage of MGC over other possession value models is that it values defensive actions more accurately and rewards players for receiving the ball in difficult situations.
