Analysts and coaches can spend hours analyzing data and video before and after matches. With MyGamePlan’s new Insights feature, that process is now faster and more focused.
Users can now see AI-generated insights for their team, players, and opponents. And while insights can often be generic, because MyGamePlan captures your game model in detail, these are hyper-personalized and relevant to your team's tactics.
How It Works
The new Insights combine rule-based algorithms with AI-generated text to surface what truly matters to your club. Each team’s insights are generated directly from its own trackers, the ones tied to its game model inside MyGamePlan. After every match, the algorithm scans your metrics and compares them against two baselines:
- Season Average Insights: Highlight what your team consistently does well (or struggles with) over the full season.
- Form Insights: Compare the last five matches to your season average to reveal performance trends, positive or negative.
You’ll see up to 12 insights per team, automatically translated from raw data into clear football language, giving quick direction on what to focus on next. Clicking on "View Tracker" inside the insight will take you directly to tracker deep dive page where you can watch video and get more in-depth information to take a better informed decision.

With Insights, analysts and coaches can instantly see:
- Where performance is trending up or down
- Which principles are being executed well
- Where interventions are needed, without manually digging through data or video

For Team Performance:
“Your team’s line-breaking passes have increased by 25% over the last five games.”
For Opponent Analysis:
“Your opponent’s possession gains in the final third have dropped below their seasonal average.”
For Player Development:
“Your right-back has struggled in ground duels inside the box, winning none and ranking last among defenders.”
